The Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical sciences & Research Centre,has 550 bedded multi super specialty state of art hospital with highly qualified consultants & devoted Nursing & Para Medical Staffs. The treatmentfor common ailments, certain surgical procedures and basic investigations are completely free, while otherprocedures and specialized investigations are carried out at subsidized rates.

The three-storied hospital building has separate outpatient wings for Medical-allied and Surgical -allied at ground floor, modern operation theatres at first floor and Intensive care units, special ward and dialysis unit and infertility centre at third floor. The newout-patient building accommodates Medicine, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Ophthalmology whileremaining outpatient departments are on the ground floor of the old building.The hospital built-up area is 2.6 lakh square feet with an outpatient block and an in-patient block with 40beds in the ICU, which includes 10 each of Medical Intensive Care Units, Respiratory Intensive Care Unit,Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. A dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unitis adjacent to the labour room, which also has 2 Obstetric emergency beds. Outpatient timing for generaland speciality clinics are between 8.30 am to 2 pm and evening clinics are between 4 pm to 5.30 pm.Emergency services are available 24×7 in casualty, emergency wards and intensive care units.

Speciality clinics in Diabetology, Asthma, Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Urology, Cardiovascularand Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Cancer clinic, Voice -clinic, Retina clinic,Otology, Rhinology caters the special needs of the patients. On an average, 850-900 patients visit the hospital and daily admission varies from70-80 patients.The highlight of the hospital is well-equipped and advanced 11 operation theatres withfully equipped Cath-lab and Fertility centre. Average of24-25 major and 30-34 minor operations are performed in a day.

Clinical support services including Radiology & Imaging (CT and MRI), central Clinical Laboratory (CCL) is established at ground floor to cater the diagnostic needs of patient

Hospital is accredited by NABH (pre-entry level) in January 2019 and central laboratory is accredited by NABL (Cycle 1) November 2019.
